Components of an electric sewing machine

electricThe sewing machine is composed of four parts: machine head, machine base, transmission and accessories.

Machine head: It is the most important part of the sewing machine. Its working sequence is to stab the material first, then hook the thread, then pick up the thread, and finally start feeding. Winding, pressing, and falling teeth are its auxiliary mechanisms. All parts cooperate reasonably and work in a cycle to help the machine head to complete the sewing work.

Base: The base consists of two parts, the platen and the chassis. The platen is mainly used to support the machine head, and can also be used as a workbench during the sewing process. The chassis is used to store the machine head during machine handling, in order to protect the machine head and make it easy to carry

Transmission: The transmission part of the sewing machine consists of a frame, a hand crank or an electric motor.

The frame is the pillar of the machine, the frame supports the platen and the pedals, and the platen supports the machine head. For most hand cranks, the motors are mounted directly on the nose.

Accessories: including machine needles, bobbins, screwdrivers, oil pots, etc.
